Billing

The sewer service charges will be generated at the end of each month and printed on the same billing card as the water service charges.  The property owner/tenant should call or come by the office if a sewer/water bill is not received by the 5thof each month.  A 10% penalty on the sewer and water services will be generated after 3:00 P.M. on the 10th of each month on all unpaid balances.  A delinquent notice will be mailed if payment has not been made by the 10th of each month.  If payment has not been received by 8:00 A.M. on the 20th it will result in the water service being shut off and a $40.00 Reconnect Fee will be added to the services .  If water is shut off for non-payment all  balances must be paid  in full before it is reconnected.  Payment of only the water service and FAILURE to pay the sewer service will result in termination of the water service until the sewer service is paid in full.  Powell’s Valley Water District has 24 hours to restore water service after payment in full has been processed.

If paying after hours, please use the drop box located on the side of our building at the drive thru window. If using the drop box please attach the remit to stub showing your account name and account number with your payment.  If using the drop box, please follow these instructions; If your service is off for non-payment, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the office to turn the service back on. If a customer is prepaying a NSF check, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the office. Payments deposited in our drop box after hours will be credited on the next business day.  Checks or Money Orders only.  No cash please.  You may also pay online using a debit or credit card.  This option has a convenience fee for each transaction.
